Ascension School is directed by the Pastor of Ascension Parish, the School Principal and the School Board.
CURRICULUM
The Course of Study prepared by the Division of Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Baltimore in the areas of Religion, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Foreign Language (Spanish), Computer Education, Library Skills, Art, Music and Physical Education.
Textbooks and schedules comply with the standards for Maryland Elementary Schools.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND ACTIVITIES

The Save Our Streams Program.

ASCENSION SCHOOL BOARD
The school board is responsible for:
- Advising the pastor and principal
- Recommending school policy and practices
- Deliberating on and recommending school issues
- Approving the annual budget
- Setting of the tuition rate
HOME SCHOOL ASSOCIATION
A vital component of the school community.
Essential in the development of values consistent with Christian principles.
Provides and supports social, service and fundraising activities.
Membership is comprised of all parents and guardians of children attending Ascension School and the staff.
A successful School Service Program by which parents may offer their special talents while fostering
a stronger Ascension School family.
This program is detailed each year at the September meeting.
Meetings are announced in the Church bulletin and Monthly Schedule.
